Applicant/Employee Evaluation, Testing and Training

 

JanTech Staffing conducts a thorough interview with the applicant.  A criminal background check is completed for Dallas County and any county that the applicant has resided in the past seven years.  Reference checks are done to ensure applicant’s job history and/or skills match the position.  Certifications, degrees and trade licenses are verified.

                 For clerical positions, JanTech Staffing performs evaluations for typing speed and accuracy, alphanumeric/numeric data entry, transcription, and software knowledge (e.g. Operating Systems, Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus 1-2-3, WordPro, Freelance Graphics, etc.) via Qwiz.  Training is also provided for applicants for software programs.  Scores for applicant’s tests can be provided at client’s request.

                 Light industrial, shipping/receiving, warehouse and inventory candidates are given basic skills tests.  These include math, reading, spelling and color blindness.

Drug testing can be arranged with the customer’s provider, or JanTech Staffing can provide and bill at cost to the client company.

JanTech Staffing can also mirror or administer any client specific testing or training required of the position.
